WIVB News 4 - Buffalo App Reviews

Please dont waste your time. News 4 App is a joke. Developers must be related to owner. Who else would accept 100% negative reviews. I watch channel 4 and Im embarrassed for them for this crap app.

This is more of an app to advertise William Mattar than to give the news! Horrible. Ive deleted it and gone with WGRZ

Every time you read an article and go back to the front page, an ad pops up. Once is ok, every time is absurd. Also scrolling is difficult as has been reported. Loose the ads.

Not only is there a pop up ad every time you open up the app but when you are not even clicking on them scrolling through stories they automatically open up in safari.

This app is fantastic at pushing breaking news notifications and then promptly crashing when you to to open the app for more details.

Once again, This is worse than the previous version. It frequently freezes up and says "fetching next story" when swiping from story to story, then it doesnt load up, so I need to close the app and re-open it. I really dont notice anything different from the previous version, so they shouldve left well enough alone. Junk app!

For some reason, WIVB has seen fit to blow up our phones and send a notification every half hour about this "dangerous" snowstorm. This is buffalo. Weve been through snow like this before. I ended up deleting the app because they wouldnt leave me alone.
